David La Vay

David has trained in social work and play therapy and has experience as both a senior social worker practitioner and therapist working with children and families within a child protection context. David’s work as a play therapist over the last eight years has been with children who have experienced significant loss, trauma and abuse. He is a full member of the British Association of Play Therapy and an associate member of the British Organisation for the Treatment of Abusers. David is also a visiting lecturer on the Play Therapy Graduate Diploma programme at Surrey University, Roehampton Institute.
